Bloc Sunglasses - Excellent Customer Service
Discussion
It's always nice to recognise good customer services so...
Had a pair of Bloc sunglasses for over a year. The arm fatigued and snapped through use. I e-mailed Bloc to ask if they'd sell me a replacement arm and explained why. They told me to send them back for repair and two days later I get a brand new set.
Now these are £40 sunnies, not three figure designer, so to say I was impressed is an understatement. They're also very good sunglasses to boot - certainly equal to my Oakley set.
Well Done Bloc!

Good to hear
Had identical thing with TomTom. We bought one of the original TomTom Go 700s about 5yrs ago, and 3yrs later a small plastic pin snapped in the mounting arm which meant it wouldn't stick to window anymore.
Phoned up asking if we can buy new one, they took our serial number and sent us one free of charge! These weren't just the small sticky ones you have now either; this contained the dock, charging point etc and was quite big.

My 910 dock snapped a while back and I didn't even think about contacting them. Will have to do so as it sounds like you had the same problem as I did.

Currently hacksawed the dock in two and using the little connector bit to charge it whilst having a passenger hold the sat-nav if it's needed

It was the large arm where the sucker was pulled away from the screen by a plastic lever, which sucked it to the screen, you then pushed it forward to unstick.
The pin that broke was the one that connected the see-through plastic sucker to the lever arm (and therefore you couldn't create the seal).

My seal came off after a pin snapped, can't remember the exact details but the twisting action of the sucker mount was what locked it in place on mine and when trying to un-twist it to remove one day, the sucker snapped off. Where did you buy your glasses from?
They look good online, but obviously Sunglasses need to be tried on first.

I have a large swede and these are quite big glasses so fitted my head well。
It's a long long time since anyone posted to this thread, but I'm pleased to say Bloc still offer great service.
I have some Bloc glasses that I have had for some time (no longer a current model) and lost one of the rubber arm sleeves.
I got in touch and they are posting out a pair of replacements for free :-]
Because of this they got a sale out of me for an updated pair and I was able to use these discount codes for 20% off, WHITERIDES and SCOTT20.
I also thought like Jonny671 I'd like to know the frame sizes, and I asked and they said they do free returns so you can try at home.
Big up to a British company who are doing things right

I had a similar experience with Oakley.
I broke one of the fixings for the arms (or ear socks as they informed me they're known as) on my Oakley Turbines - my fault entirely. I contacted Oakley to enquire if I could buy a new set of 'ear socks'. They told me that unfortunately they were out of stock but instead I could choose a whole new frame from a list of 10+ different colour combinations, which they then kindly sent to me FOC.
Fantastic customer service and I've subsequently bought another pair of Oakley sunnies and a new pair of ski goggles.
