I have been noticing the amount of "Curiosities" being peddled on ebay. There are V5 documents for exotic and not so exotic cars as well as funny combinations of V5 and car (good example being "reshelled" Mk1 mini coopers).

I am interested in what the legality of this is and if anyone is breaking any laws (they are)and how this is being enforced. I think some of these practices, if seen in "non-internet land" by a real policeman would generate some big consequences fro the perpetrator.

From my perspective, these document peddlers and car re-vinners are spoiling the sport of classic tinware. I for one am disgruntled about it. Are there any solutions to it? Is ebay and the net in general just a lawless dog-eat-dog hinterland of crap and del-boy petty criminals.

What do you think? Hopefully this thread might wind up some fury, or do you all drive modern cars?
