Nürburgring 24 Hour

Next year, myself and a few mates are planning on missing the Le Man 24hr and heading to the Nurburgring 24hr instead.
Now Le Man I know inside and out, having been 15+ times but I have no idea about the Nurburgring.

Does anybody have advice on campsites, parking, cost, best bits, things to avoid, where to find the kinky German girls etc?

I've heard rumours it's a lot like Le Mans of the 80's. Also, is it possible to get onto the track prior to or after the race to do a few 'ring laps?
