to write this on your FB account, for all and sundry (inc your boss) to see:

"The Queen Speech has up's the retirement age to nearly 70...lol, sorry but im not working a day over my 50th Birthday, Ill just screw the system for every penny I can, and make up some illness to get incapacity....iv paid my taxes....May 10th 2024 will be the last day I ever work..!!"

Keep that attitude up and tomorrow will be last day you ever work, at least in my shop, sunshine.

He's paid his taxes. Yes. And I pay over 4 times more tax than him. I don't expect to quit work whenever it suits me. Bloody dimwits.

I think you've got to be a bit more dodgy to suggest you'll fake an illness so that you get Incapacity Benefit when you reach 50 so you don't have to work?

There's a website somewhere that allows you to send an e-mail at a certain date in the future. Set it to send a copy of that page to the benefits agency about six months after the date in 2024. . . . . .

If the guy has no ambition, a "funny I plan to have sold up and retired before then" post as a comment may make him realise how dumb he has been.

On May 9th 2024 I'm going to blow the whole world up. And possibly a piece of the moon. So there.
