Anyone got this?

Rate it?

I played the demo and that seemed quite cool, but wanted some opinions before diving in

Completed it a day or so ago.. Its a good game no doubt, but does get a bit repetitive.

The co-op campaign is brilliant... you go from uber-professional well planned moves to complete retards in a matter of seconds.. from running in to each other, bashing doors down when the other player is the other side etc etc. To illustrate this point in one level we both took down 2 guards each with well aimed shots then simultaneously dived across the same desk ending up in a heap on the far side and promptly got shot before we could recover.

I would say its very close to being a very good game but falls down on a couple of fairly basic points..

1. Toward the end of the single player campaign I think the developers forgot that it was a stealth game and kinda force you to COD it.. which gets frustrating because you cant use automatic weapons in free aim to save your life

2. Dialogue gets irritating.. all the baddies say the same taunts wherever you go.

3. Something that really disappointed me.... was that in the co-op campaign the other character kinda shines a bit to make it obvious its you mate not a Russian guard hanging from the ceiling - ok thats fine! However you can play a 1v1 versus mode but you still shine so however dark a place you find to hide you are still really obvious to the other player. So any suspense from sneaking up on each other is lost cos you can see each other a mile off.

Ive finished the single player and have nearly finished the co-op.

Its a good game overall but as already pointed out there are some frustrating bits in the single player and co-op that force you to fight and the controls just dont work as an action shooter.

I also fine the controls a little clumsy at times. They've made the A button do to much, so for example you can be stood near a door and depending on where you look you can either turn off a light, open the door, peek underneath or jump through a window. All by pressing the same button so there are times when you end up jumping through a window and get detected when all you wanted to do was turn the light off.

Co-op is the best thing about it, as its fun in an chaoticly-unorganised manner as the poster about mentions. You plan something out, then it quickly goes tits when one of you accidentally smashes out of a window, attracting the guards or popping a lightswitch on instead of opening a door wink

SP is too action-orientated. Again, as mentioned, toward the end you're forced into combat firefights, instead of being able to play it far more stealty. At the end, you're better off just capping "executing" 2-3 to clear the masses, then just going full-auto on the rest.

"Interrogation" bits were fun though - I like finding interesting ways of beating people up smile
