Alfreton?

Going to stay with family in Alfreton at the weekend, fancy a zoo or decent petting zoo or similar, any reccomendations?

Try the White Post Farm Park nera Mansfield http://whitepostfarmcentre.co.uk/ .

Its the only place that i can think of at the moment.

Another vote for Sundown, we went in November for one of the Santa days, it was horrible weather but my youngsters loved it.

Is there still a zoo at Riber Castle near Matlock, which is about 20min from Alfreton - i might be showing my age though with this suggestion

there is the heights of abraham cable cars. And gullivers world 'kids' theme park if your going into matlock

I think the zoo closed, but some (most?) of the animals were re-homed at Matlock Farm Park...

Thumb up for this - I live close to Alfreton, White Post Farm is next to Wheelgate Adventure Park so you can do both in one day.
