reecomend a place in Herts/North London to service and carry out minor repairs with original parts if required to my 8 year old Omega speedmaser automatic reduced. It's been worn 24/7/365 for everything and is in need of a little tlc. (minor scratched glass requiring polish or replacement, polish or replace bracelet, general clean, service and regulate should about cover it......Hmm maybe cheaper to a get a new watch put like that lol)

Cheers

Had my Seamaster serviced by www.watchdoctors.co.uk last year and they did a fabulous job.

It is a little outside your preferred area, but have only read excellent things about Steve at RyteTime in Leicester - might be worth having a look at. I'm sure that some others will be along soon with more suggestions.

I think I'll give watchdocors a call/ visit and see what they can offer and look at some samples of their work.....

I'd prviously found them on the internet... just didn't want to give a leading question.

Hi Hoover,

I have an Omega Seamaster, bought in 1997. Last year it needed its second service so I got it done here:

www.swisstimeservices.co.uk

They are the Omega offical service company for the UK, and they are based in Essex.

Took less than a week, but not cheap, £130. Great job, though.

I actually took it there, spoke to the engineer etc .

Can reccommend them although maybe cheaper elsewhere.

Good luck.

The Leaper,

even better..... every thing I need doing looks like they cover as part of a general service, and they've got all the parts or access to the parts and the right tools to do the job.

My monies going there now I think, not worth mucking about for the sake of £50.
