iva - silencer

Guys,

re the iva, are there any specific requirements for the silencer, i.e certifications, stamps on the outside required or anything that i should know?

All you need to know is that you have to achieve 99db at 75% of the revs your engine produces max power.

No markings etc.
The tail pipe sticking out will have to have a radiused lip (Min 2,5mm Rad).

With the open back grill the test will also pick up both general engine noise and induction roar so you would do well to make that as quite as possible too.
