Hi Guys,

Had a little knock this morning in my courtesy car and I’m unsure about the situation and wanted to know where I stand and what I can expect to happen. If anyone could shed some light that would be great.
I was reversing and just didn’t pay enough attention and clipped a metal post. I am ashamed to say the least, I park there nearly everyday!

Will the courtesy car company sort the damage out through their insurance and leave my no claims unaffected or will this have an impact on my no claims?

I assume I will have to include this accident on all future insurance policies, is that correct?

I've paid extra to remove the excess on any damage that may end up on the car. So hopefully that will help slightly.

I have all the documents for the car at home so I am unable to check until I finish work. Just really want to have any idea about what may happen as I have been worried sick all morning!

Thanks
Adam

It won't affect YOUR ncb but you will have to inform your insurance company that you have had an accident.
