Will SD1 4-pot calipers fit on an MGB?
Discussion
Don't think they do - many of the guides I've seen about using the SD1 as a donor car don't include the brakes.
I remember hearing that the 4 pot calipers off the 70s Princess fit on nicely - you just have to find a set!
There are more expensive options available from the MGOC and the Beehive, but the brakes on a B rarely need a massive upgrade and therefore my stage 2 B ran a good set of brakes on a new servo, V8 disks (thicker for better heat dispensation) and greenstuff pads.

Yes, that's quite true. Finding a set now is very difficult and even if you do, they are never cheap. If anyone sees a scrap Princess in their local breaker yards, get the front calipers sharpish ....... and those from the 80s Austin Ambassadors. The hatched later version of the Princess.
Even the early Metros ( MK1s ) had 4-Pot Calipers...over engineered or what ... none of your seized sliders there ....
