Fireball Dinghy Repair
Discussion
Hi all,
The deck of my fireball has detatched in a small area, from what I can gather it was glued together and i'd like to glue it back.
I'll need to inject the glue into the seam by the looks of it but I don't have any idea about the glue/ resin I should be using.
Any ideas or techniques?
Dave!

Use an old bit of hacksaw blade to get into the gap and clean out any loose debris or dirt.
Buy a small pack of epoxy resin, you'll need throwaway pervert gloves and a disposable brush.
Mix glue as per instructions.
Dribble it into the gap, you might need to roll the boat on its side to do this, you might also want to masking tape the other side to prevent it all running out.
Sometimes on little jobs like this I lever the gap open a little, when glue has run into the joint pull out whatever you used to open it up.
Easy peasy.

Excellent, it seems far easier than I was thinking.Buy a small pack of epoxy resin, you'll need throwaway pervert gloves and a disposable brush.
