Rear Plastic Window Polish / Perspex Cleaner.

In the early 80s i had some exelent cleaner called "Grey Gate" Plastic Polish which a pal who worked in the Airline industry got for me, and i used it with exelent results to renovate the very faded rear window of my sadly missed TR-6 . It was a white liquid , It realy was good stuff and transformed the window.

Griff rear screen is faded and i am strugling to get a suitable polish . Any ideas anyone ?

Autoglym Super Resin Polish seems to do the job as well as anything else.

You can get aircraft perspex polish for about a tenner online. I can have a look in the garage for the name of it if you want.

Are we talking about 303 Aerospace Protectant?

I use it and it's great for keeping your rear screen clear and supple.

Just been in the garage, it's Meguirs 10 aircaft perspex polish that I use. Not sure which is the best stuff but that seems OK for fine blemishes.

My local car shop does this stuff that works faily well, but it is just a very fine polish, and does not soften the plastic at all if its got hard. It worked better than car polish, brasso, or T cut plastic polish buts it a stupid price for the amount you get.

I have used T-cut for years on many different cars, always does a fantastic job, just try it on a small area first if you are not sure.

Thanks for the info guys . Renovo looks good although i did try some normal car polish and that has helped slightly. I have had some some T-Cut kicking around for ages so may give that a quick try before Renovo.
