That is sweet.

A friend of mine has a cat which just watches the mice, even when one ran over his front paws. But the dog goes after them like mad, so the cat gets to sit and watch the show..

Lulling it into a false sense of security. Nice approach.

It'll leave it a while, toying with it, getting to know it, making it feel all happy, before BAM!!!! it lets the mouse die of old age.

That's fearless feline frolics that.

Just what I thought! I think the cat has actually died ontop of the mouse due to some dirty house related illness.

Yep that i bet that house stinks of dirty washing and stale fag smoke.

Why would you consider locking the cat and a rodent in what looks like the window and some secondary glazing to provoke a fight... very odd.

If it isn't a pet, they'll enjoy the fleas it's going to give to the cat.

I could be wrong but I think that fleas don't go from animal to animal i.e. cat fleas don't attack dogs and so on. So I would assume (but more likely than not, wrongly) that they won't share fleas...
