Some utter tt has put a nice meaty scratch on the bumper of my car. It wasn't there this morning so I'm assuming it's one of the delivery drivers for Dominos (we share our car park with them). I'm trying to work out how they've done it as it's a fairly flat shape - wheelarch maybe?

Anyway it's rather annoying as I have no details (obviously) and it's going to piss me off every time I see it. T-cut probably won't work as it's dug into the actual plastic itself. Any thoughts?

New foglight cover? And then its probably best to take the other bit to a bodyshop unless you've done it before

You could sand it down, fill the scratches and then respray but without the right facilities it would be a disaster. I would just go to a bodyshop and get it done professionally.

With scrapes that deep you dont have a hope in hell in doing a proper job yourself unless you know what youre doing but then you wouldnt be asking if you did.

Bodyshop all the way and take the positive out of it - you can have them remove any other marks/chip on the bumper while theyre doing it.

...........and go looking for grey paint on a Pizza van!

To any competent repairer that is a simple corner scuff. New decal, and you're away. Should take no more than 3 or 4 hours, key to key.

Thanks chaps. I might just leave the fker on there - I'm getting fed up of having a sporty car and having to mollycoddle it all the time - completely non-PH I know but meh. Maybe I'll get a Mondeo v6 or something so I won't care if I scuff it.

Although maybe it's an excuse to get front fogs or an M3 CSL style intake wink

doesnt matter what you drive Mondeo V6 or not - its the injustice of it and the fact the fkers then dont own up to it!! Saw a guy the other day mash the side of a Post Van in his truck. The van rocked something cronic he hit it that hard and he just drove off!!!! Unbelievable!
