Sell my TVR are buy what ??????????
Discussion
Hi guys
I am contemplating selling my beloved TVR S2 having owned it for 11 years. Having had my baby daughter, i may not use it enough and need to get a weekend toy with 4 seats !!
On that basis, if i have a £12k budget, what should I buy ?
My thoughts are:
Jaguar XKR ?
Vauxhall Monaro 5.7V8 ?
Keep the S2 ?
Anything else ?
Thanks

Keep it ! Or get a Cerb
Kids grow up so quickly and it won't be long before your little one will enjoy a trip out in the S. I put mine up for sale a couple of years ago just after having my 3rd son as I couldn't work out when I would ever use it, but so glad I decided to keep it in the end.
Or maybe you're ready for a change .... Cerbera is very practical with a family you know

If you're thinking of a 2+2 then get on and do it quick. You'll be surprised how quickly the little dears outgrow the idiotically small rear seats in some 2+2s. Also it's a PITA getting kids into a car seat in the back of a 2-door car.
There's something to be said for an MPV for them and a toy for you....
One of the questions you have to ask yourself is whether your passengers really want to be thrown around in the back of a sports car anyway. In my experience the answer is generally "no".

lotus elan plus2
morgan 4 seater
I originally looked at cerbs in this scenario, in fact thats how i found this site.
looked at a couple and got beaten to the post by Nervous (nice looking blue one)
then went overseas and came back with a smaller wallet. Plumped for my brilliant red Morgan - it probably wouldnt be that great for a tiny baby though!

Cerb?
3200?
911?
As much as I really really wish it wasn't the case, but surely either of these for 12k is a pretty bad idea? Possibility of 5k+ bills? I desperately want the Maserati to be a good choice but I figure if you buy one you should have at least a few grand more tucked away with the expectation that it will end up spent on the car!3200?
911?
Cat D but still, at this price it makes you wonder, only 43k too...

Out of your suggestions I would definitely agree, just lovely lovely cars.Don't really know if this will float your boat but ive always quite liked the brera, this ones a bit over budget but some haggling and who knows.
