I saw a strange speed trap on the cat and fiddle a couple of days ago. A tripod with a horozontally mounted disc/platter (approx 75mm heigh, 40-50cm wide), with no noticable camera. However, concealed across the road was a white 206 with a box of tricks clearly inside on the dashboard with a blue shirted gentleman watching over things. There may not have been any wires connecting the tripod to the car - perhaps wireless. I was turning off the road just before the tripod, so did not get the best of view. This may not have been a speedtrap, but it looked very suspicious - any ideas what this could have been ?

There are a number of non fixed speed traps on this road also in the summer the police use a chopper for the bikers, this is one of the most dangous roads in the UK so many noobs speed all over this road, it used to be a great bike run but not any more. Two of my friends died on this road. Do not speed on this road ever! Because the guy coming the other way will be and may loss it on a corner that you are on. The drops and the walls kill.
