Thinking of selling my full carbon race bike, not sure the best place to advertise or what I should get for it though. Bought at mates rates as an end of season race bike (still expensive) but I haven't been on it for a year or more now and tend to just take the mountain bike rather than the road bike so it is just taking up space. Think it was about 4K worth in 2008.

Spec
Planet X ZCB27

Way too much - it doesn't even have any pedals! wink

Seriously, that is a very tasty looking machine sir but as to it's value no idea I'm afraid.
Don't 'give' it away would be my only advice.

medium (easily fits me at 5,10 so a few inches either side for a rough guide)

Hate to say it, but not as much as you would like. I think the SL Pro frameset with Dura Ace 7900 was retailing for £1599 a while ago, but they aren't doing it any more. The best you can get is the same frame with Ultegra for £1099, or SRAM RED for £1599 now

The wheels are going for £469 new

You're probably better off splitting it all and selling individually to be honest

Might stick it on ebay and see if it gets any interest, any other good places that more keen cyclists might look?

put a classified ad in cycling weekly. also advertise it on 220triathlon(.com?), and in the tri plus and 220tri mags. any local tri clubs with a website? it would make a good tri bike for the hilly courses and i am sure there would be interest. if you do put it on ebay, stick "triathlon" in the title.
