Idle adjuster thread gone

My idle adjuster thread has gone. The lock nut won't do up tight enough so the screw can move, due to engine vibes the screw has undone itself slightly. Any ideas for a fix as the car is now idling at 5-6oo rpm and not feeling right?

the threaded part is just the pressed steel actuator arm
It's about 2 to 3mm thick mild steel so you could just retap to next size up
Think the idle screw is m6 if memory serves

Thats what i did, tho if i remember it was m5 and i tapped m6? cant be sure, will have a look if i can...
