My (not) new MX is idling low ish at about 750rpm

When I halt it drops right down to about 250rpm and sounds like it is about to stall, before jumping back up to 750. It's almost juddering as it halts.

Any ideas what would be causing this?
If I put the Air con button on, although it doesn't work and needs a re gas, car idles then at 1000 rpm and doesn't drop down much

sounds like the base-idle needs adjusting or throttle body cleaning..

For the A/C thing, it sounds like you dont need a re-gas, the ac system has a low-pressure switch that will stop the ac coming on if the refrigerant is below the threshold... if the revs are high when the AC is on (and the air isnt getting cold) , it may be the compressor clutch isnt engaging..

Has seemed to sort itself out...

Sent car off to garage today for a service and check over-
handbrake seemed a bit crap and idle problem- though this seemed to have been much better recently

We picked it up later with no charge, they said it didn't need a service, handbrake was only crap as it had been sat in this chaps garage for a few months- he said to run it for a few weeks and if I get any more probs bring it back
