New bout of face ache in the North West

Hello to all!
Having been a member and a keen reader of these forums for quite a while, Ihave finally realised a dream....
I picked up my 98S Halcyon Atlantis Chimaera 450, with the fantastic help of Rob Ingleby, yesterday afternoon after a week of grinning since the deposit was put down. As you can imagine the grinning has got even more intense! My face is so creased up I can barely see!
I have loved these cars since I was a teenager and have been an inactive member of tvrcc for 6 years and so have finally realised a dream.
Driving home from the Peaks in the pouring rain with standing water on the Chapel bypass chucked me straight in at the deep end (sorry!). And then all the Friday traffic on the A6 meant that I found out that the fans come on at 90 all the time. Which is a relief.
When it was drier later on I got onto the motorway to give it just a little bit of wellie. Was amazed also that it's so easy to drive in traffic. I felt immediately comfortable.
Thanks to all the great input from people on here, I have been able to gain a bit of understanding of what I have let myself in for. I already have the bible, but do need a Leven hood cover and some Thompsons for the roof.
Must go, the sun is out!

Sometimes, in fact, many times, do I still pine for the relatively simple joys of the motoring style with which you are now blessed.
That hearty bass line thrumming away; the easy driving position; the delightfully ergonomed cabin that hems so distinctively; the fantastic targa-conv arrangement of the roof and it's speedy effectation...and the fact that when summoned so, it will still party like Ted Nugent surrounded by a frenzied orgy of Texan Heffnerettes.
It is an irresistable proposition that does more or less what it proclaims on the tin.
May your speed limits be of liberal, German interpretation.

Don't expect the ache to go away soon. I can't wait for tomorrow morning
