bellhousing to engine bolts stainless ???

Ok chaps would it be ok to use stainless bolts in this position or does it have to be high tensile ??

Hmmm...... some people just want every bolt stainless so they polish them

Stainless steel is s alot more prone to brittle fracture than normal steel or HT. Stick with HT would be my call.

ok HT it is then, only thing is some bolt people call 8.8 high tensile, where as I thought high tensile was 12.9, anyone able to enlighten me please.
