LHD worth lots more than RHD at the moment in the UK.

Find a Euro buyer.

DO NOT sell it for less than a RHD equivalent model!

Top tip Baldy, pop an advert in the British forces newspaper:

http://sixthsense.bfgnet.de/

or on this site:

http://www.ufish4.co.uk/Classified/Default.aspx

The guys and girls based over in Germany may take an interest!

There are LHD specialist companies in Berkshire- search the classifieds in the Left Hand Drive section, and you'll soon see a couple of them. Google would also produce the same results I guess.

If you have it, it would be worth mentionning the European Certificate of Conformity, which is part of the hassle of getting a car registered elsewhere in Europe. This might make the car more appealing to a foreign buyer.

If you don't have it, a buyer may ask you for the VIN so they can check that it is possible to get the car registered in their country.

This site provides a service for the CoC but is in some cases twice the cost of requesting it yourself.

http://www.eurococ.eu/en/

Here in France you also need to declare that all VAT is already paid before you can register the imported vehicle so the need for all documentation is really important.

hi
yep its a car,the non uk ones had double doors at the back- i will have to check with my friend what hp it is.Also its not the basic trim etc as it has cd and aircon. There are a few parking dings but nothing drastic as far as i'm aware.
