Pop-Up Restaurants - Could You, Would You?
Discussion
I didn't know about this until a couple of days ago. 'Pop-up restaurants', where people invite others to dine in their home... I'm hearing there are 'donations' of around £40 per head.
So you turn your gaff into a Cuban paladares and invite half a dozen or so total strangers around.. ?
Did search a little to see if subject has been covered - delete if it has

quite popular on meet up . Not keen myself. It's not the strangers bit that bothers me, it's the thought that I have to enterain wearing clothes as my dhothi tends to put others off. That and insisting they only eat with their right hand facing east with a statue of a crucified vishnu in the corner whilst listening to the best of Mannilow on the radiogram...

i do not know about the money side but we cook genuine indian food that you would never find in a restaurant.
every time we cook for people they love it. my wife and i have a small side business that teaches people to cook in their own home and its a lot cheaper than £40 per head. depends what you want for your money.
food cooked in your typical curry house is pretty poor.the typical punter is more sophisticated these days
