Sony stereo upgrade

i want to upgrade my sony head unit with a I'phone type unit but want to keep the sony remote stalk on the dash , was looking at a new unit in halfords last night that will do the job but the bod did not know if the remotes stalk would work ,

I upgraded mine to a ipod/iphone sony and it uses the stalk... was latest one at the time and better than the one shown, cost around £160... will get the model no etc when im back in the UK tomorrow (as I will be in the garage removing the engine AGAIN!!!).

This is the one you want. Did this research ages ago. this comes with a mic and will down load your numbers. It also works with the stalk.

P.S. The model you are looking at i don't think will down load the Iphones numbers. I don't think it has blue tooth either as thats how you connect the Iphone using the above one (you can of course still hard wire it to the unit also).

Hi Bondy , yep that looks like a nice unit ,is there a remote mic for the blue tooth ? been told there is no way the mic will work in a Noble if its built in the face of the unit .

it comes on a wire so you route it to where ever it makes sense i think.
