I currently have sky so already have a satelite dish. Can I just go out and buy a freesat HD box and use my existing sky dish with it?

Seems a bit too simple to me.

Yes, its works off the same satellites as sky. Plug in freesat biox and go.

I already have Freeview but also Freesat which picks up the HD channels - I take it I don't need Freeview HD ??

Do u have sky+? If so you will probably have a quad LNB and will have 2 spare connectors (the kit at the end of the arm on the dish) So you can just plug in. I have an octo lnb and I have used 6 connectors so far and have sky+ and freesat hd

As with all good things theres programmes on Freeview not on Freesat and vice versa. To cover all options you'll need both.
