anchor chain on DHC door

Does anyone know where the chain that stops the window, rather than my bodywork currently attach to, its anchored on the door frame but not the winder motor / window bar ?

if you mean the wire that limits the travel of the glass it should be attached to the arm of the winder mechanism to limit its travel.

Thanks for that, have a parts book but they show it not attached, looked at the window base but not really the arm.

All the doors I've looked at have the wire attached to the glass cradle (the thing at the bottom of the glass)
via a nut and bolt and then the wire is attached to the frame/glass runner at the bottom nearest the lock, normally with some type of adjustable locking thing (christ, cannot think of what's it called)
