Hello chaps,

I'm going to Rockingham tomorrow to watch my brother's race debut in the Ma5da Cup. I've offered to take a few photos, so could anyone offer some advice about where to stand for a clear shot of the action? The closer I can get the better. They'll be using the National Circuit.

Thanks,
Chris

Go to the end of the paddock (by the vehicle entrance tunnel) There’s a gate for infield access where you can just see round the edge of the debris fencing onto the hairpin..(don’t bother with the temporary little stand there – Unless your 7 foot tall you still can’t see over the fence !)

what he said.....

There is very little else apart from a pan from the roof of the pits.

What he said II the sequel....

Very windy, barren and no spectators! In the infield it's a desolate place. Even with a press pass you wont hear me say I'm looking forward to Rockingham.

I think they need to either open up the grandstands down either side or sell them off for scrap and put in viewing banks.

As said on top of the garages or the tarzan hairpin, its pretty lousy for photography to be honest.
