Classy restaurant for tonight with girlfriend ?????

Halifax? Classy? Can't help you there!
Try Brookes in Brighouse. Always good food, and the most spotless kitchen I've seen in 20 years dealing in restaurants & bars. Probably a bit nearer to you is La Cachette in Elland, (same owner as Souz Le Nez in Leeds CC).

Try the Villa Margherita in Ripponden if you like mediterranean style food. The food and service is always superb. The kitchen is run by Bob and Barbera who have a Greek background and front of house is taken care of by Dariel who is Spanish.
drank in the Fox next door but never noticed it existed. might give that a go.It is a bit of a way out (but a superb drive) but how about The Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey? http://www.thedevonshirearms.co.uk/
