Hey everyone,

I have always been dreaming of building my own hot rod 911 and this is what I would seriously like to build in a close future (I hope, if the finances go better)

here are the wanted specs :

- narrow body SC or 3.2
- Almeras Rallye group 4 body kit + ducktail
- BBS E50 gold wheels in 17 inches with some nice sticky rubbers (Michelin Pilot Cup or R888)
- not sure about the colour, but I'd be going for black or brown I think
- gold Carrera strips on the side
- 930 brakes
- Elephant Racing/Wevo parts for the chassis
- original SC or 3.2 engine at the beginning, then who knows .. tongue out

Tell me what you think of it,

Cheers !

I actually want to drive it more on the road then on the track ... well, as I live very close to the 'ring, I basically want to go from my house to the Nurburgring and back with it, so no mad racer ! biggrin

these are not hot rods.

the OPs rendering is just an 80s race car.
putting a v8 in a car doesnt make it a hot rod.

A hot rod doesn't mean always old Ford '32 slammed on the ground with a huge V8.

Call it whatever you want actually, I don't care ...

Seal grey or Black colours should suit it well, looks mean in Green too.

Look forward to the build, if you decide to go for it!

I agree with Crafty that it's not a hot rod, but that's just semantics and makes no difference to what looks like it's going to be a sweet machine!

I think the most successful colour schemes are the light blue, and the brown has a nice period feel to it, and is my favourite. Strange, as I think brown is a colour that never works on a car. Works on this though! smile

White always works well with the 934 look

thanks guys !

It's actually not a 934, it's a Almeras Gr.4 body kit. Looking quite similar to the 934 except that the Gr.4 kit is made for narrow bodied cars like this

Didnt say I didnt like it, just its not a hot rod.

A neighbour has a '86 Super Sport, still gets loads of looks wherever it goes.
