This morning we have just attempted to swap a rotor arm on my 924S
It is slightly pitted, however the car runs well.
Their is a small grub screw holding a brass insert under the red plastic rotor onto the end of the camshaft, this was removed and a screw driver was used to try to ease off the rotor. Guess what? A piece of the rotor cracked off!
No problem, our local parts shop man kindly delivered another for us.
I will try tomorrow to possibly file away at the brass and loosen it that way. Has anyone had the same situation as this, and are they on a taper and very tight ?
