I watched coverage of the Mayor's question session in the London assembly on BBC Parliament.
OK, I was channel flicking. But I have to tell you, I was hooked! Whilst I always thought of him as a loveable buffoon, I now look on him in a completely different light. A clever breath of fresh air who adds honesty and humour to otherwise mundane proceedings.
The way he makes the man from the BNP look such a twit is hilarious.
It's available on iPlayer until the end of the month, well worth a watch.smile

Can you imagine it.... My word the speeches would be funny. Christ only knows what would happen to the country though!

I particularly liked that where he could give a yes or no answer, he did. Rare in itself. But where questioners were attempting to be typically devious in the context of the bigger political picture, he was having none of it!
Very refreshing. yes

Get some tinnies n popcorn and think of it as a free movie without the spoilers.
"It'll make you laugh, it'll make you weep...."
teacher Make the blinkin' effort, you can't expect everything on a plate these days, and you'll learn a lot, I did. smile

eta, and hurry up, it's only available until the 31st.
Or would you prefer the Eurovision Song Contest? I rest my case.

Is that a wicked ploy on your part, to get the viewer interested?
