3 New speed cameras ....Bury

Well, it looks like 3 new Gatso's have been sited on the M66 between Ramsbottom and Bury junctions in the last two days....

2 within 1 mile on the southbound carriageway going down the hill, and one on the opposite side....

At the moment they have covers over them, but I bet they will be operational in a day or so.....

Is this for roadworks about to be implemented? Last year they put 8-10 cameras on the M25 around J26-27 in the same way in preparation for roadworks. They kept the bags on until the roadworks started.

Possibly, but will they remove them afterwards?


I very much doubt it.....
