I'm a local boy and will be there.

Does anybody remember the accident that happened there a few years back? I was a very small child (4 or 5) but I remember what I think was an old Jag Hitting a tree and injuring the driver so badly that an air ambulance was called?

It wasn't a Jag I vaguely remember it being a J.A.P. A small 500cc single seater. I seem to remember the driver's surname as being ''Rose'' It took so long to get him out because he refused to let rescuers cut him out. I was marshalling that day. Might be there on Bank Holiday Monday

Like I said, I was very young

I do remember that red "curtain" being up for an awful long while... I sometimes wonder if that incident was why my parents wouldn't let me do motorsport as a child...
