Joop: Must say, that's a very inventive idea. The center latch as delivered is a bit ham fisted compared to the rest of the details on the car. I used two Aero Catchs on the sides, that come down on pins mounted at the high point of the body just in front of the rear tires. I left the center catch as delivered. One thing that worked out very well is I used the under body Aero Catchs and made a mounting ring that mirrors the rings on the Gas caps looks very much stock in my opinion. Good luck with your idea. I like the fact that it has a key lock on the inside of the cockpit. so providing the ignition key is on the same key ring, you should remember to lock the rear cover before you drive off.

A latch is something to hold a door shut. A latch is another name for what you are making.

The other: a baby 'latches' onto the mother to drink.

Okee Guys, thx

And it refers a bit to craftmanship, which I like.
