Yes, I know it's Halfords, and yes, I know it's pretty cheap - but are these any good? They seem to be a good price at the moment:

At that price its nearly worth riding for the summer and bunging on ebay afterwards

Does look very good value. Ride might be a touch harsh with the ali forks but still.

Good for the money-there's not much to touch it at that price. I'd probably spend my money on a Gryphon though, better bike if you can get by the flat bars. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/...

Just been and had a look at one of these, I'm saying it probably weighs about 10/11kg, which is heavier than my Knoa MTB.

I'll be considereing a Boardman Road Comp on the C2W scheme instead.
