Just looking on the Audi website and happened to look at the TT and noticed something a little unusual.

The TT Roadster is less than the TT Coupe, however the TTS Roadster is more than the TTS Coupe.

Any idea why? Seems similar to the Porsche Boxster/Cayman situation where arguably it's just down to market/range positioning, but it seems a bit blatant for Audi to revers the price point when you step up to the TTS?

i have too and realised this and the reason (i think) why the standard roadster cost less than the coupe is because the coupe has rear seats. im not sure why it changes round for the TTS but im guessing the TTS Coupe doesn't have rear seats.

I don't think they charge £2k for rear seats! It is indeed bizarre that the roadster is cheaper- reckon people do prefer the seats in the back to stick things on it like shopping or something. Price is probably due to popularity of the coupe imo.

The roadster range starts cheaper because you can get the 1.8 turbo in droptop style but not coupe.
If you compare the 2.0 turbo sport the coupe is £26475, the roadster is £28415.
