I've just been told about these guys, www.warrantywise.co.uk/main.htm. Needless to say, they provide warranty for all types of cars, including classic cars.

I own a 944 S2 and have been quoted £369 for 12 months of cover. (If I opt for 36 months, they will only charge £850.) This is a quote which will cover pretty much everything that I need. (din't opt for a/c, turbo or abs as i don't have them.)

But I don't know much about car warranty's in general. Can someone check these guys out and tell me what you think please?

I don't want to take out the policy only to find out it is the worst one on the market!!!!

My friend has used these guys for the last 8 years. He says he has never had any problems with them. They don't argue with you, they just authorise the payment. (provided it's covered under the agreement ofcourse.)

But in your opinion, does the warrenty from warrantywise seem ok? i.e. is everything that is covered in your old warranty, coved in the classic car warranty which is offered by warrantywise?

My friend has 4 cars. All 4 have a warranty with warrantywise. He has a 7 series, a Jag, a Rover and a Renault. He was telling me last night, if you can prove to them that the lifespan of an engine on a 944 is 10 years / 100,000 miles, and that has now elapsed, they will pay for a rebuild.

I don't know of any other company that would offer this!
