It depends on the fuel map its running, thats the setting the Range Rover map uses, on the whole the TVR maps are set higher, (but not always) but you would need to open up the ECU to see if a TVR chip was fitted.
About 6200rpm on my pre cat I hit it on Friday, I have a removable chip which apparently all TVRs are supposed to have come with but not necessarily unique to them. I would say 5500rpm is plenty enough for an old V8
