Huge thanks everyone - much appreciated.
4 years ago when my car was a bog standard road car & the old 7.57 sec record stood i would have laughed at the thought of getting there as being ridiculous.
There was an absolute mindset that a Skyline had to be 4WD to be quick etc.

A few people to thank:

1. Andy Robinson for taking the time to speak to me & say - "do you want to go quicker & i mean quicker" after i smashed yet another set of driveshafts when the car was running 10.0's on IRS & then backhalving the car & other mods for us & being a mountain of info to a complete set of newbies to drag racing full stop.

2. Abbey Motorsport - the guys have absolutely worked their behinds off & are never ever happy with hearing it can't be done or it can't be improved. They have a great mentality in terms of not rushing in with things & wanting constant improvements year on year which is what we have seen ie/ 2006 9.9, 2007 8.5, 2008 7.78, 2009 7.68 & then so far this season 7.45

3. Jon Webster - we recently asked Jon to help us rebuild the car after it's accident a couple of months ago & an outstanding job & again so much advice & help given

4. People on here & at track - have met some fantastic genuine people over the last 4 years who have more than happy to share info, help, support us & a huge thankyou to you all.

What's left now then - well the car is still running as rich as a pig at the moment as we didnt want to go in feet first & lean the engine off to much whilst we get more & more used to running methanol.
I think it could see 7.2's with a cracking run & things sorted.

We get the 350Z out hopefully for the nationals & really looking forward to seeing what the car can do, if only the car could run in Pro Mod or Pro Stock in the future!
