Im having trouble finding some Software that works in XP and is compatible with my CDR.

I have installed Roxio but it says it is not compatible with my CDR (Laptop Built in CDWriter)

Ive got 3 Linux ISO's to burn on to CD.

IS there anyother way?

Cheers

Steve

Why don't you just use XP's built in burning capability?

Agree -- just remember to turn off the CD recording option on the CD-ROM drive's options dialogue box or XP and Nero may fight for control of the drive.

Nero's fine on my XP too and I'm still on version 5.5

Often compatability problems come from people installing Roxio software and then Nero and not uninstalling (fully) Roxio first.

Nero 5.5 is fine with XP unless you have a DVD burner.

Then you'll need 6.

I'm using 5.5 and Easy CD Creator for DVDs on my XP Laptop, no problems at all.

I have a DVD Burner too, no problems at all I use Nero 5.5 for CD and DVD work.

I think it might depend on what order things are installed.

Have you checked the website for an update? Some of the patches I've downloaded (for Roxio I think) said they included new info for newer CDR drives. If it's a new burner that might be worth a look.
