Can someone please advise of a solution. My Cerbera 4.2 the battery ran flat due to not being used. After charging the battery still cannot get it to start. It seems that the Immobiliser has gone into lock down as I get a clicking noise from some relays at the rear. Do I have to unplug the connections to the relays?

Any ideas please

Cheers John

Get the RAC out to bypass the immobiliser, I guess?

When you get battery problems, you can sometimes spike the alarm causing it to go a bit nuts....

Try disconnecting the battery for a bit and be careful when reconnecting. Might sort it out...

John.

Have a look at some of the past threads using search. They'll be loads of info available.

Try disconnecting the battery (earth lead) for a minute or so, this may remap the ECU through which I assume somewhere /how the alarm goes through via. the ignition switch - worth a try.

Worth also considering your battery is now knackered, depending on how long it's been discharged for. Hopefully not though!
