OOOPS !! Wrong price !

Just entrusted my wife to put my car on pistonheads and she entered the wrong selling price ,but it won t allow me to change it as the adverts "LIVE" Anyone know what i can do about it,,,before I give my car away ? !!!

Yes you can change it, just go to edit ad.

You need Mr Will I think but as he is on a bank holiday he wont be back until tomorrow. Just refuse all offers until then or if the price is stupidly cheap people will think its a scam and not respond anyway.

I tried the edit ad option, but it jusy kept saying "there are only certain changes you can make because the ad is live".... Who s Mr Will ??

Strange, I can edit the price/description/title on my Ad.

The only thing I can't do is change my personal details.

Maybe a regular/premium difference?

Hello

You should be able to edit the price via your management centre, the "there are only certain changes you can make because the ad is live" message is perfectly normal and appears any time that you edit a live advert but the only thing which is restricted by this is the make and model.

If you are having problems editing the price then make sure you are entering just the numbers (i.e. 9000) if you enter commas or the pound sign then it can confuse it and cause problems.

If that doesn't sort it then just let me know and I'll do some more digging.
