Remove the AJP unit by dropping it?

Has anyone, or does anyone know if you can remove the engine by dropping it between the chassis rails? I can see that the ARB would have to be removed for sure but not a clue if will fit between the space.

I want to have the Cerb up on my tall ramps so I can remove the suspension units etc but was going to have the engine out for a strip down at the same time. This will stop me from removing the engine in the normal fashion as it will be too high for a trolley hoist, and I reckon it will be too heavy to push the Cerb up my ramps with the engine already out.

Hmmm - When I first read this I immediately thought "Of course it won't, what a stupid idea" but thinking about it....it just might. You'd have to remove the manifolds though, I can't see them fitting between the rails. Normally the engine has to be tipped upwards so the pulley clears the chassis cross member at the front, but if your dropping it, it might just work. Your going to have to figure out how to support the engine when you remove the mounts etc, etc..and then figure out how to lower it.
Isn't it just easier to take the engine out as normal, buy a crate of Stella and invite some mates round for a "pushing a Cerb up the ramps party"

I looked at this when I took my engine out a few weeks back, but looking at it then I was pretty sure the top of the engine won't fit down between the lower chassis rails.

I was thinking about using an A frame and pulley to lower/raise it or connect the pulley to the above joists, but if it aint going to fit between the chassis rails then I guess it might have to be the crate of beer option. Don't think the wife is up to pushing it on her own .
