I think it’s known as efficient.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I recall reading a study of the relative insulation properties of different construction methods.

Of all the construction methods tried over the years, the method which best kept cool in summer and warm in winter was this one.

So much for modern ‘green’ building.

Wattle and Daub is made from woven sticks and mud, used to make mud huts.
