Looks like the car I'm getting has the ipod touch integrated into the dash. Dealer said something about being able to run the tom tom sat nav on it. Anybody doing this out there? I assume it still needs a separate gps receiver.

Only got a quick look at the car but it looks awesome - black with black alcantara interior, tricolour stripe, yellow stitiching and horses and calipers. Not sure why it has a horse on the petrol cap, nor what the plaque signed by a Famous person is all about though! Also have an option on a brand new unregistered white car just in case. Will post pics when it happens smile

Hi Andrew, I'm assuming the dealer means you can use the tomtom app.

Unfortunately not had the chance to try it in a 16M but it is very good!

Having had the chance to check out a few I have to say black really suits the car (as does White)

You need to check the app works in landscape mode. I just use my iPhone instead of the iPod by utilising a female to male 20 pin iPod lead. Far more easier than fiddling around in landscape.

It does. Though for the app to work at it's best, you also need the specific Tomtom cradle, as it contains a GPS booster.

As an all-in-one solution, i think it's unbeatable. Tomtom, all the tunes yould could want, plus a voice recorder for capturing those 16M+Tunnel moments.... biggrin

Sorry, just being a nosey bugger really, but what, if anything is leaving the fleet to make way for the 16M?
