I picked up a copy for the XBox at the weekend, HMV were doing it for £29.99 with 800 Microsoft points thrown in - great game!
I've added my name to the Gamertags thread but there is only one other person on there for blur at the moment, would be good to have a bit of a PH battle some time

Just picked this game up. Played Saturday and Sunday for a total of maybe 10 hours. Really fun and addictive.
Worked through the single player which I've nearly completed and dablled in multi player. The achievements and in game award are really good and have lots of variety.
A great game if you fancy a high speed un-realistic blast around a tracl. The game looks awesome aswell.

Picked this up a week ago in Tesco for £26 (it seems to have increased in price since my last post), and it's taken me by surprise! Come to it expecting remotely realistic handling and you'll be disappointed – cars are classified as either 'drifty' or 'grippy', but handle differently – but if you want something that feels like the b
d child of PGR, Mario Kart and Wipeout then you won't be able to stop grinning! I've split my time between online and offline play and find racing against humans amazingly addictive! It gets quite strategic too. Find yourself out in front and you better stock up on shields and keep an eye in your mirror for any floating orbs of pulsating pink death that could knock you back to mid-field.
Or frustrate your pursuers by laying landmines or shooting their powerups as they chase you down. Brighton's never looked more like a warzone either – must be the seaside town's first time in a game.
The presentation is really slick and there are a few great innovative features – I really like being able to join a MP game while the other players are in a race and be able to see a map showing their progress, it makes sitting in a lobby more bearable. There are lots of CoD-style challenges, upgrades and achievements to keep you coming back too. It's really enjoyable in bite-sized chunks or longer sessions, and really quite addictive. All go and buy it so we can have some PH leaderboards

Exactly. Best description of Blur I’ve seen yet.d child of PGR, Mario Kart and Wipeout …I love this game. Picked it up on release day and it hasn’t left the drive of my Xbox since.
I tried out the PS3 version recently (the multiplayer demo only recently launched for PS3) and it’s just not quite as good … can’t put my finger on why.
My Xbox Live tag is designergeek if anyone wants to add me for Blur races, or rivalries in the singleplayer mode.
