Doing this on behalf of my dad. Insurance + fuel economy aren't really an issue. Could possibly stretch the budget to £35k for something special. The Criteria:

RWD
More usable everyday than an elise
250bhp+
No 4 pots
Preferably british
No Porkers!

So far He's considering:
T350
Sagaris(strecthing the budget)
Tuscan II
Noble M12 GTO
NOble M400
Lotus Esprit V8

Anybody got any thought's/ suggestions?

Most of these aren't made anymore which would be a concern unless I was near a recognised specialist. If I had to pick one it would be T350 or Noble M12.

I assume this is a toy and he has a more mainstream express to use (if not I would suggest M3 CSL, M5, Cayman etc).

Personally I would have a nice 993, or an NSX.

How old is your dad? Tuscan MK II will probably be the easiest TVR to live with as they are very civilised when you want them to be. If it as me, it would either be a morgan Aero 8 or a F355, that or I would hunt down one of the Marcos TSO's that was made, sweeet jebiz those things are beautiful.
