Use a lower gear on the hill? I coped fine with hills in my first car and that was a 1litre.

Take it down a steeper hill, that will help.

You might do better to form proper sentences making what the issue with the vehicle in question more apparent.

By more power do you mean on top of standard power or is your car producing less power than it should be and you suspect a fault?

Big bore exhaust should help, with some Halfords alloys. Bodykit to help the aerodynamics cost permitting. After this, a spoiler will be needed to provide downforce that'll be vital after these mods. Slam it til it's scraping and you should be sorted.

Well I know how to spell "know" but perhaps my car knowledge is limited somewhat.

Since you snubbed the suggestion that the small engine capacity is the cause... The clutch could be on its last legs, it would really struggle to get up hills then.

It isn't very likely if the car has been serviced lately but your rude demeanour to those who replied to you helpfully annoyed me and I thought I'd make a suggestion.

I doubt we will be seeing him as a regular on PH, unless he gets his grammar and spelling sorted out first.

Well it's a 1.2 Clio...I had a MK1 clio as my first car (although the 1.4) and they are never going to be pocket rockets. They ARE extremly easy to work on however so when it breaks down you will probably be able to fix it yourself.

Without going down the route of spending some decent cash on it though your never going to get it going too fast, you could try an airfilter and induction kit (which mine had) but it does not make too much difference if I am honest without doing the other mods I had done. One thing I will say, no need what so ever to change the zorst on these!
