Put your questions to Lamborghini boss
Discussion
1. Why was Audi allowed to produce the R8-V10 when Gallardo sales are down so much ?
2. Will they ever move to a 3 model line-up ?
3. What impact will the Porsche acquisition have ?
4. How worried are they about McLaren ?
5. Can he explain the VAG brand strategy in 35 words or fewer ?
6. Does he think that because of CAFE the new Jota will be the last V12 ?
7. What's the future of the fully manual gearbox ?
8. Hydrogen or fuel cell ?
9. What year does he think the first all-electric Le Mans will be run ?

Given the impact Muira and Countach had upon introduction, are there any plans for Lamborghini to introduce any future models that push the boundaries of both style and performance in the same outrageous and forward thinking manner?

Whereas Ferrari have brought out the stunning 458 which is starkly different to the preceding F430, are Lamborghini going to introduce a new model to compete? Or just continue with the (quite boring) evolution of the Gallardo?
ask him why his colleagues have sent me a survey asking
On scale of 1 to 5, how important is it to you that Lamborghini cars are still made in Sant' Agata Bolognese. Italy?
Would you ever buy a Lamborghini super sports car with a high-performance diesel engine?
Would you ever buy a Lamborghini super sports car with a hybrid engine?
Would you buy a super sports car with a high performance V8 turbo engine?

Sounds ominous, wonder what the chances are of VAG producing all the parts elsewhere and simply keeping assembly in Sant Agata, in the same sort of way that they are doing with the Bentley On scale of 1 to 5, how important is it to you that Lamborghini cars are still made in Sant' Agata Bolognese. The Lamborghini marque has gone through some troubled times for decades, until the financial stability offered by the arrival of VW/Audi who took it over in 1998.
Ask him, what was it about Lamborghini that prevented it from going the way of many Italian supercar manufacturers of the 1960's and 1970's. What was so "special" about Lamborghini, that prevented fate from dictating it went to the wall?
Will he ensure that the "special" quality of Lamborghini is preserved and carried forward into the future?

Not a question as such but what i would like to see in the future:
Less special editions
Big lump of engine & big power, no turbos, etc
Retain 4 wheel drive system
Proper Lambo doors
Agressive styling
More option to be able to spec (interior, exterior) bits from the factory in whatever colour or style you should choose
Continue as now with several modes but more so, to provide flexibility and therefore the ability to adjust to suit your needs. ie crazy loud fast mode & sitting in traffic quiet restrained, economy mode and variable in the middle.
Radio & satnav that actually work as well as cheap aftermarket ones
Improvement of reverse gear
Not flooding the market with cars
I would also quite like to see a convertable with removable hard roof panel like the carrera gt, koenigsegg, etc not the abomination that passes for a a roof on the murcielago roadster.
Sounded a little harsh above, I think Lamborghini generally doing a good job.

i'd ask about future styling direction.
the early cars were exercises in pure beauty and elegance and the miura is an obvious example of timeless grace and design.
the countach seemed to change all that, and ever since the cars have become more aggressive and outlandish. even cartoon like. the murci is the only modern lambo i would say is a nice design, the gallardo is horrible. purposeful, agressive, but not pretty.
the alfa 8c showed that supercar design can still produce beautiful results. does he not think that lamborghini can produce anything similar in concept? is the miura such a monolith in terms of design that they are scared to even try?
