If anyone has an interesting car, whether modern or classic, there is an event on Saturday 19th June in Sheffield.

It's being held in the car park at the Costco Superstore just off the Parkway, and as well as free food & drink for all exhibitors from Costco's café, there are loads of prizes to be won.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance might be making an appearance also.

Not been to an event like this before but as long as it's not chucking it down I'll be there with the SWB Barge. No doubt the missus will want to come to this one! hehe

Hope to see a few of you there!

Hey Sharknose,

I didn't see you at the Super Car Sunday the other day?

This one sounds good. I quite fancy it. Is this happening because the Graves Park one has been put on hold permanently?

Slightly off topic but......

I could do with speaking to you about getting my E30 M3 set-up properly at Bridgegate (you mentioned that they set yours up perfectly when I was speaking to you at the last SSCS in April.)

Regards

I couldn't make it on Sunday due to a family do but I will be at the Dyno Day so perhaps we can have a chat then.

The technician you want at Stratstone Chesterfield is Nick Toplis as he has a lot of experience with these older BMWs.
He worked on my M635 when it was new and remembers doing 155MPH up the Chesterfield bypass with the owner sat next to him. biggrineek

Hi m4ckg

Yes it was. I'm on half-term hols, so I popped into Nonnas for a coffee. As far as I am aware....there is only one other in Sheffield but it never comes out to play unfortunately.

I could have sunk a couple of Peroni's myself , unfortunatly out delivering in the van and then a measure at Greystones. Gutted !!!

Is it the Henna Red one? That is a fantastic early example - absolutely mint.

Hey Nick,

Yes it is. It would be nice if he brought it out to play sometime though.

Sounds like fun. Nick have you organised this one? You should add a thread on www.supercardriver.com as there a load of locals on that forum who would be up for it...

Hi Adam, no it's a Costco event that's open to all interesting cars - obviously the more that turn up the better it will be. Feel free to post further afield or on supercardriver as there doesn't appear to be any other local events on that day.

Would I be able to attend in an Integra Type R?

Not sure what I am doing next weekend but could be interested.

Cheers, Greg.

The information I have suggests it's just a static display in a sectioned-off area of the car park.
I don't think Costco have hosted this type of event before so it all depends on how many vehicles turn up.
I'll certainly be there!
